This collection of prints epitomizes the essence of the Asana Practice. Each gestural brush stroke created by Dani is representative of the essence of the pose in the simplest of form. Many times we get caught up with the body’s external form and the mind’s internal tape which takes us away from seeing who we really are. As yogis, we practice these poses to move the body, breath and prana within ourselves to dive deeper into our Self, constantly trying to return back to the knowing and accepting of our own unique body and inner experience of being with that shape. This collection is meant for the viewer to see the print pattern as a unique language of markings or symbols not quite identifiable from afar but rather the closer you get to know language of Asana the more it reveals itself.
