Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance and awareness in other physical activities and daily life. After a run, hike or heavy workout, or just sitting at your desk, yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the body with the breath. Dani's classes and private practices focus on the expansion, allignment and growth of your asana practice as well as using the 8 limbs of yoga as a map for shedding light on your life 's potential. She loves teaching to all different levels and has gravitated to finding creative ways in helping her students feel their practice from the inside out on and off the mat.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and concentration . Medition is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself, get clarity and tap into creative energy. Dani is an artist who came to mat because of personal health reasons. It was after her first yoga class with Lisa Bennett Matkin that the self realization of being in a yogic state can occur with moving her body. She has always felt that union with self expression in creating her art. After years of having a personal practice wth guidance from many Hudson Valley teachers Dani did her teacher training with Amy Pearce-Hayden. It is her passion, joy and focus to help people realize their creative potential can be unleashed through Yoga. She brings forth connecting different techniques in the yoga practice with fundamentals in art making to create a safe experience to enjoy the flow of creative expression !
