I am happy to announce that I am back offering4 opportunities for you to experience the The Great Yoga Wall.

Prior to the pandemic, teaching The Great Yoga Wall was half of my in studio class curriculum.

I missed the support of this practice and maybe you did too? or maybe you want to try?

Yoga Wall History

Based on the principles of alignment, ‘the wall’ is used as a prop to deepen yoga postures by opening and creating space in the body using therapeutic techniques. (Inversions in our advanced classes). The original “Yoga Wall” took on the form of ropes attached to wall hooks, designed by B.S. Ingra. Overtime, the Yoga Wall has been modernized for greater comfort with the use of a new system of comfortable harnesses, supportive bars, and adjustable straps to accommodate all body-types. The Great Yoga Wall™ was invented in the early 1980’s, by Kedric Wolfe and Bryan Léger; they knew there had to be a “better way” to use the wall, with simple versatility for all bodies.

An advanced yogi who wants to use gravity to deepen their experience can use the wall for a beginner that needs extra support for balance or. Students with injuries or limitations may find that the Yoga Wall provides additional support as well as freedom in the joints and muscles, allowing for some relief. The Yoga wall is like having a partner in your practice that helps you check into your Self.

New Sessions offered:

1-Fundamental Yoga Wall    for beginner students

2-Back to the Yoga Wall      for intermediate students

Starting April 12, 2022 in a new therapeutic format, I will be offering 3 types of cumulative sessions for a yoga wall practice at Full-Being Collective, in Wappinger Falls, NY.   Did you know that when I trained in North Carolina, I found out that the majority of places that had the The Great Yoga Wall worldwide were in collective therapy centers where the integration of many tools and modalities are used to help one heal with the intelligence of their own healing potential.

I am very grateful to be practicing and teaching in Samantha’s healing space and be among this collective of teachers and practitioners who work towards wellness.  For I believe this modality of support is beneficial for all beings, just like Hatha yoga. If you can not make any of my sessions, please check out Joel Van Sickle’s Yoga Wall sessions ,too.  We are trying to compliment each others offerings so that you have a wider range to choose from .

Remember, Yoga is meant to be part of your integrated life . The yoga Wall is a slow, explored, supported process and will be taught with integrity to help you expand your breath, body, awareness and presence of fully being in the moment to highlight the miracle of your body over the course of a 3 - 6 or 9- week session.  This curriculum is using yoga as a therapeutic tool for growth.

Here’s what some people are saying

“Anyone who has the opportunity to study with Dani is very fortunate.  She is very knowledgeable of  the yoga world.  Dani’s manner is authentic, informative, caring and compassionate. She has an intelligent guidance and gives us excellent cues. Dani is constantly reminding us of the connection between mind and body, nurturing an awareness  I didn’t have before taking her class.  She has helped me to find peace with my aging body.  Dani is a joy to be with and I always look forward to her yoga classes.” Joyce Pines

“What is the difference between a good teacher and a great teacher? Both have skill and knowledge, but a great teacher has passion and believes in what they are doing.  That is Dani. Her knowledge and passion for yoga, for helping others, rings with truth and makes you dig deeper in your practice and discover that peace and growth we are all searching for. “ Megan Kolagris

”Dani’s approach to yoga is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. She has an innate gift to dial-in on the anatomy, to realign and get the body and the mind, for that matter, feeling and performing at it’s best. In her private practice she has a unique ability to combine therapy, strengthening and a restorative massage all in one session. My practice with Dani has made lasting improvements in my strength, posture and body awareness” Rose Marie Sterling
