During this Heartful Yoga Collaborative Art Making session, the themes of belonging, becoming, returning and releasing were at the intersection of artmaking and yoga. This collective was guided and encouraged to explore their mark making and expressiveness without attaching to the preconceived notions of where we were going next and achieving perfection. We stepped into the present state of collective consciousness because of collective play drawing upon mindfulness, movement and mediums used at hand.
We are all beings with the need for community and self -expression. We made the time to allow constructive playful mark making to unfold and in doing so, we flexed the muscles of the hands, heart and freedom of the mind.
