Ever notice a child’s freedom in exploring the possibilities of a crayon—how they hold it, peel the paper off, smell it and sometimes want to eat it? This workshop explored our deep connections of our hands for self-expression and their connection through our heart center. We isolated hand muscles and movements through mudras and poses and explored the our physical body with its range of motion and limitations in the hands bedopening our hearts through self expression of our body before coming to the paper to play to let it out emphasizing the sensory input of our hands and making connections through our heart.
