Having a hOMe Practice
Having a Home Yoga Practice
Any time that you take to tune in to truly listen to your body and breath, and let it lead the way, rather than your mind, it is yoga. -Dani
Having a home yoga practice has loads of benefits. You can practice anywhere, day or night, and you don’t need much in the way of equipment. But where do you start?
Join Dani at this weekend workshop that will outline for you the essentials in creating your home yoga practice. Dani has been personally practicing yoga for the past 22 years and teaching for the past 10. She is a teacher for everyone- novices and teachers, able bodies and non. She believes everyone should have access to yoga and art for healing. She will stitch together for you a deeper understanding of when, why and how to use these simple yoga tools as part of your home practice. She will plan work with the group and individually in setting you up so that your practice becomes an accessible integrated part of your daily life for wellness. Taking your practice with you everywhere. This workshop is an actual practice of asana, pranayama and meditation. We will then break it down for you to customize and take home to practice.

Your home practices encourage you to understand what you need on any given day and practice in a way that supports you physically, mentally and emotionally. This workshop includes an emphasis on using the tools of asana, pranayama, and mediation as well as investigating the practices of ritual, mantras and mudras for healing.
